It's 90's day! Flashback here we come!

Here's a list of 7 amazing memories from my 90's childhood. Take me back!

1. This gum was the best thing to buy when I was at the ball park for my brother's baseball tournaments. These babies lasted the whole weekend! The only problem was they had absolutely no flavor. But who cared back then? All we wanted was a big old reel of gum for some reason. The best part was adults knew how disgusting it tasted, so they never bothered you with asking to have just a little piece. The worst part was seeing your gum come to an end when it wasn't long enough to roll around in the container anymore. Just a little stub was left, and you had to decide if you wanted to eat it or save it. So you just ate it.

2. I don't know why Guess Who has to be considered a 90's game. I think it's still a great way to get your mind off every day things haha. This game was probably my obsession. I always tried to come up with the most discreet questions that would help me beat my brothers. Remember the awful realization of drawing a girl from the pile of people? There were only 4 or 5 girls, so it was completely unfair to play that round because everyone knows you started the game with, "Are you a boy? Nope? Okay, give up now because I already know your person." And don't even think about lying. I always smiled when I attempted that little trick.

3. Ahhh VHS tapes. This takes me back to Friday nights at our local Blockbuster. I miss Blockbuster. Sure, Netflix is convenient and has a billion movies, but the feeling of walking in Blockbuster with my family was so exciting! I can say VHS tapes are not sorely missed though. Fastforwarding through those bad boys at the beginning of each movie was painful.

4. This is just a fun picture to remind us of our styling past. My favorite part of the picture is his outfit. It's making a complete comeback. His chain necklace is probably the only questionable thing about the outfit, but even then he'd probably fit in with most 2014 fashionista's.

5. RECESS. Enough said.

6. Can we just go back to elementary school when our mom's took us to Wally World and let us buy new school supplies? I'll admit I think I enjoyed this part a little too much. New stuff to organize in my artbox! I think I rearranged my stuff every day. I mean come on one year I had a mini stapler, tape, and scissors, and hole-puncher all in my artbox. I rarely needed all these things, but it was just nice to have;)

7. The 90's wouldn't be complete without at least mentioning hide-and-go-seek. We played that all the time! The thrill was there every game! I used to fit in the cabinets under my bathroom sink. Those were the days. It's always fun to remember the good old days.
